Stroudsburg played host to San Angelo at the friendly confines of Tim Raines Stadium.
The Stroudsburg Shade topped the San Angelo Mustangs, 5-3, in Donnie Moore League action at Tim Raines Stadium. The player of the game was Stroudsburg pitcher and Dumbarton, Virginia native Jimmy Shumaker. Shumaker, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs. Jose Vasquez got the save, his 17th in 22 chances.
