Stogies Beat Jacks in 10

The Havana Stogies topped the Jacksonville Jacks, 4-3, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Humidor. The player of the game was Havana pitcher Joe Jackson. Havana reliever Abdul Razzaq Kharoti picked up the win to move to 3-0. Eiichi Ikeda suffered the loss. Havana leads the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division by 5½ games.
The Stogies got a big at-bat from designated hitter Hoshi Ishikawa. For the game, Ishikawa was 1-2. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 15th hit of the season gave Havana a 4-3 lead.
"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Ishikawa told the Havana Times.
