The Hawaii Islanders got a stellar performance from pitcher Alexis Garrett, who handcuffed the Brooklyn offense en route to a 2-1 win at Blue Ivy Stadium. The winning pitcher was Garrett, now 2-1. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Hawaii now has a 5-game win streak.
Jim Burry aided the Hawaii cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-4 with a double.
