Saints, Bruce Pin Bad Loss on Cyclones

The St. Paul Saints downed the Coney Island Cyclones, 11-2, at Coney Island Coliseum. Jim Bruce led the way, going 3-for-4 for St. Paul. The losses continue to mount for Coney Island, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
Terry Simmon, who is tied for 5th in the BOL in bases on balls with 49, aided the St. Paul cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Bruce told the St. Paul News.
