Dannemiller goes 3-for-4 in Knights Win
|
The Kingwood Knights topped the Chippewa River Chiefs, 7-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Reservation. The player of the game was Kingwood third baseman Paul Dannemiller. Kingwood is 40-50 and Chippewa, with the loss, 50-41.
Dannemiller had a key at-bat for Kingwood early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was his 17th double of the season and gave Kingwood an early 2-0 lead.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Dannemiller, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
