The Charleston Panthers got a strong performance from pitcher Seamus Floyd, who stymied the St. Paul offense en route to a 6-2 win at Franklin Mountains Field. Floyd, the winner, moves to 1-2. He threw 5.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. Today's win puts Charleston at 41-48, while St. Paul falls to 48-42.

Bill Carr went 1-2 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Charleston. The 21-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth.
