The Palm Beach Bums defeated the Barrow Frosties, 6-2, at The Blizzard Bowl today. Leading the charge for Palm Beach was center fielder Alonso Rodríguez. He was 4-5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Palm Beach is 35-54 and Barrow, with the loss, 45-49.
Yoshimochi Takahashi aided the Palm Beach cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 4 with a triple and a walk.
