Emeralds Get Road Win, 4-2

The Eugene Emeralds picked up a win at Road Warriors Field, knocking off the Westside Road Warriors, 4-2. On the mound for Eugene was right-hander Chuck Easton, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Emeralds bumped their record to 49-42 with this latest triumph.
The Emeralds got a big at-bat from catcher Miguel Guerra. For the game, Guerra went 2-3 with 2 doubles. In the top of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Eugene a 3-2 lead.
