Brisbane and Barrow duked it out at The Blizzard Bowl and the Bush Wackers came out victorious.

The Brisbane Bush Wackers handed the Barrow Frosties a loss at The Blizzard Bowl. The final score was 8-5. Dave Evans was named player of the game for Brisbane. In addition to his 3 singles and 1 home run, he scored 4 runs and drove in 1. The winner was Bobby Savoy, who threw 103 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 2 hits.

The Bush Wackers beat the Frosties with some clutch hitting. The home run by Insung Yaung in the top of the first is a good example. With two down, Yaung gave his team the lead, 2-0, when he came through with the big hit.

"Enjoyed this one," Evans told the Brisbane Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
