Perry Hits 2 home runs in Emeralds Win
|
Behind a solid performance from designated hitter John Perry, the Eugene Emeralds defeated the Bethesda Hornets, 7-2. Perry was 2-3 with 2 home runs, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Emeralds. Eugene's record now stands at 47-40, placing them second in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division.
Perry had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Emeralds went on to win.
