Blazers Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus San Francisco
Blazers second baseman Henry Morris put his stamp on his team's 7-4 win over the San Francisco Earthquakes. Morris went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Bloomington in the contest. Dong-soo Bruce, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. His record now stands at 4-4. Morris had a game-changing single in the top of the seventh. On a 2-1 sinker from Rick Childress, he banged a 2-run single to left, giving the Blazers a 6-4 lead. It was the 31st hit of the year for Morris.
