Late Rally by Bombers Secures Win
|
The South Carolina Bombers relied on the hitting of third baseman Baber Davi to stop the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 6-4. For the game, Davi was 3-3 with 2 doubles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. South Carolina is now riding a 4-game win streak.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from right fielder Shawn Harris. For the game, Harris was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave South Carolina a 6-4 lead.
