Fans who congregated at Stable Park were treated to extra-inning drama.

The Barrow Frosties beat the Kingwood Knights, 8-6, at Stable Park. The Frosties got a fine performance from first baseman Myles Aucoin, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4-5 with 4 singles and 2 walks. The Frosties bumped their record to 42-42 with this latest triumph.

Luis Valdez's hit in the top of the 13th was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from Kevin Neily for a 2-run home run. It put Barrow in front, 8-6.

"We'll savor this win," Valdez told the Barrow Chronicle, "then get ready for the next game."
