Hornets Lose 5-2 Decision to Bloodhounds
Bethesda shortstop Sean Witter had a good game, even if his team did not. The Hornets dropped a 5-2 decision to Boise at Hornets Field. Witter went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. Boise reliever Chris Hart picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jose Rios absorbed the loss. Boise now has a 3-game win streak.

The Bloodhounds got a big at-bat from catcher Victor Hernandez. For the game, Hernandez went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Boise a 2-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," Hernandez told the Boise Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
