Emeralds Come Back Late to Clip Bush Wackers
The Brisbane Bush Wackers and Eugene Emeralds provided some drama at Baylor Ballpark.

The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a superb performance from pitcher Jose Artola. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Eugene. The Emeralds won the game, 3-2. In spite of the loss, Artola was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. The win was Tatsuji Kudo's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jose Laracuente took the loss for Brisbane. Cody Mason notched his 3rd save in 6 chances.

Tal-hun Kug made it 3-2, Eugene, in the top of the eighth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Emeralds win.

"I was a little disappointed," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

The Emeralds bumped their record to 40-35 with this latest triumph.
