Eisner drives in 3 runs in River Chiefs Win
|
The Chippewa River Chiefs thumped the Boise Bloodhounds, 9-2, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Ben Eisner was a big reason his team got the win. Eisner went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Troy Lamb, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 7 innings. The River Chiefs bumped their record to 39-35 with this latest triumph.
Tommy Williams hit a 2-run double off Noah Zwicker in the top of the first, which put the River Chiefs in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Williams had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
