Bel Air rode a fine outing from starter Manuel Pena to victory over the Palm Beach Bums at Philip Banks Field. The final score was 2-1. Bel Air reliever Ramiro Munoz picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Charlie Cruz shouldered the loss. Shayne Cluff converted his 8th save in 13 tries.
Bel Air took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, pinch hitter Paul O'Connell hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"We'll savor this win," O'Connell told the Bel Air Herald, "then get ready for the next game."
Even with the win, the Princes have a dismal 25-47 record.
