Road Warriors Bang Out 10-5 Win Versus Stroudsburg
The Westside Road Warriors beat the Stroudsburg Shade, 10-5, at Road Warriors Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Li-xue Liu, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-5 with a home run and a triple, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Paul Nuckols in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Vinny Caballero took the loss. Westside is in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 33-40.

Liu had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 fastball from Vinny Caballero, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Road Warriors a 6-5 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Liu.

"I felt good up there," said Liu. "I saw the ball well."
