Late Rally by Bloodhounds Secures Win
|
Boise and Charleston duked it out at Franklin Mountains Field and the Bloodhounds came out victorious.
Boise Bloodhounds starter Noah Zwicker was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Charleston Panthers, 5-3. Hidehiko Yasuda got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. Jason Loer converted his 12th save in 16 tries.
The Bloodhounds got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Seisuke Fukushima. For the game, Fukushima went 1 for 1 with a double. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 2nd double of the season gave Boise a 3-2 lead.
Fukushima called the triumph "a good team win."
With the win, Boise goes to 31-42, while the Panthers fall to 32-37.
