The Kingwood Knights put together a convincing win at Stable Park, defeating the Boise Bloodhounds, 14-2. Steve Pyles was one of the hitting stars. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Kingwood. Kingwood is last in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division with a record of 28-40.

The Knights got a big at-bat from second baseman Wade Szarek. For the game, Szarek was 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 59th hit of the season gave Kingwood a 3-1 lead.
