The Brisbane Bush Wackers racked up a win at Baylor Ballpark, bumping off the Tree City Black Squirrels, 6-3. Jose Artola, who started for Brisbane, pitched effectively for his team. Aaron Lyons converted his 11th save in 17 tries. Brisbane improves to 47-23 with the win. They lead their division by 10˝ games.

The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from first baseman Sergio Sosa. For the game, Sosa was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Brisbane a 2-0 lead.
