It was a fun time at Stable Park, where the St. Paul Saints and Kingwood Knights tangled.

The Kingwood Knights beat the St. Paul Saints, 7-5, at Stable Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of catcher Keisaku Yamashita, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Kingwood has now won 4 straight.

The Knights got a big at-bat from center fielder Steve Pyles. For the game, Pyles was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 60th hit of the season gave Kingwood a 5-4 lead.

"You win some, you lose some. I don't get too caught up in all that," said Yamashita.
