Late Rally by Bush Wackers Secures Win
The first-place Brisbane Bush Wackers welcomed West Virginia to Baylor Ballpark.

Brisbane designated hitter Nelson Marcial was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws. Marcial, who is tied for 4th in the AHL in doubles with 13, went 2-2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Bush Wackers. Brisbane reliever Jose Laracuente was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Pedro Morales.

The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from first baseman Jake Polander. For the game, Polander went 1-3 with a walk, while scoring 2 runs. In the bottom of the eighth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 48th hit of the season gave Brisbane a 6-5 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Polander.

Brisbane goes to 43-18. The win puts them 12½ games up in their division.
