Kansas City third baseman Marcos Tovar had a good game, even if his team did not. The Tornadoes dropped a 6-5 decision to Georgia at The Death Star. Tovar went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Martin Blank converted his 8th save in 9 tries. Kansas City is in the throes of a 10-game losing streak.

Lachlan Miners, who is tied for 8th in the TML in triples with 3, aided the Georgia cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 1 for 2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Kansas City manager Ryan Blandford.
