Black Knights Bang Out 10-5 Win Versus Columbus
|
The Brooklyn Black Knights stopped the Columbus Aces, 10-5, at Central Park Downtown Stadium. The Black Knights got a big game from Ichiyo Yano, who was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Fred Price earned the win for Brooklyn. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 9 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 7-4. Brooklyn now sits at 31-25, while Columbus falls to 23-30.
