Frosties Lose 2-1 Decision to Dancin' Outlaws
|
West Virginia starter Robert Escobedo pitched effectively against the Barrow Frosties at The Blizzard Bowl. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Kenny Moran locked down his 20th save. The Dancin' Outlaws bumped their record to 28-26 with this latest triumph.
Ángel Aquino helped out the West Virginia cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the designated hitter went 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Escobedo said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
