Burge Lifts Panthers to 9-2 Triumph

The Charleston Panthers knocked off the Chippewa River Chiefs, 9-2, at Franklin Mountains Field. Mike Burge, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Charleston won. The shortstop was 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Francisco Flores was the winner.
