The Stroudsburg Shade overcame a good performance by Brisbane designated hitter Ryan Conley to knock off Brisbane, 7-6, at Tim Raines Stadium. Conley was 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The Shade improve their record to 21-33 with the win over Brisbane.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Stroudsburg trailing 6-5, Gerald Easler hit a fastball from Aaron Lyons to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Shade had a walk-off win.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Easler told a Stroudsburg Observer reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
