The Bethesda Hornets defeated the Kingwood Knights, 4-3, in Donnie Moore League action at Hornets Field, with Bethesda pitcher Jose Rodriguez named player of the game. Bethesda has an impressive 36-17 record.

Mario Yescas was the walk-off hero for Bethesda. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hornets right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I believe in our guys," said Bethesda skipper Francisco Solano. "I like the energy they're playing with."
