Jedi Knights Lose, 6-3, at The Blizzard Bowl
|
Getting a good performance from catcher Jim Lacy, the Barrow Frosties defeated the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 6-3. Lacy was 1-1 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Frosties. The third-place Frosties now have a win-loss record of 25-27.
Had Myles Aucoin not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Aucoin hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Frosties.
Aucoin told a Barrow Chronicle reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
