Barrow shortstop Andreas Dawson had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-3, to Stroudsburg at The Blizzard Bowl. Dawson was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Stroudsburg reliever Marco Molina picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Bobby Rodriguez was saddled with the loss. Jose Vasquez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 8th save.
Wes McCoy aided the Stroudsburg cause with a 2-run double in the top of the second. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
McCoy called the win "a collective effort."
The 5th-place Shade raised their record to 16-25.
