Saints Fall to Scott, Cyclones
|
With designated hitter Dusty Scott leading the charge, the Coney Island Cyclones defeated the St. Paul Saints, 9-2, at Coney Island Coliseum. Scott, who is tied for 9th in the BOL in RBI with 28, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 5. Coney Island, now 16-24, holds 5th place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.
Scott had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Cyclones went on to win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Scott told the Coney Island Bulletin.
