The Dallas Texans got a magnificent performance from pitcher Dan Edwards, who muffled the Portland offense en route to a tight 2-0 Texans win at Metroplex Park. Adrien Clément earned his 9th save in 11 tries.

In his 103-pitch effort, Edwards allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 7.
