Cutter has 4 hit night, Bush Wackers Move to 27-13
|
The Brisbane Bush Wackers bested the Stroudsburg Shade, 7-3, at Tim Raines Stadium. Ian Cutter was named player of the game. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Brisbane leads the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division by 5 games.
Cutter had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a 1-1 fastball from Marco Molina, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Bush Wackers a 5-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Cutter.
"We played hard and won," said Cutter. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
