Victory Over Shade Takes Brisbane to 26-13
|
Brisbane Bush Wackers starter Grant Huffman pitched a strong game against the Stroudsburg Shade at Tim Raines Stadium, leading the Bush Wackers to a 5-1 win. Brisbane has an impressive 26-13 record.
The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from first baseman Insung Yaung. For the game, Yaung went 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 20th hit of the season gave Brisbane a 2-0 lead.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett. "Our pregame was pretty good."
