Bloodhounds Win in Glorious Fashion
The Boise Bloodhounds wiggled past the Victoria Vikings, 5-4, at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Boise third baseman Kevin McVey earned player of the game honors. The win boosts the Bloodhounds to 15-22. The loss puts the Vikings at 26-13.

McVey had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a 1-2 fastball from Jean-François Blot, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Bloodhounds a 5-4 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for McVey.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McVey told the Boise Herald.
