Shade Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras

Devin Colvin did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Palm Beach Bums from losing, 9-4, to the Stroudsburg Shade at Envoys Ballpark. Colvin slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Stroudsburg reliever Jose Vasquez was credited with the win, to go to 2-2. Ryan Wise took the loss for Palm Beach. The Shade' win now puts them at 14-22.
Wes McCoy hit a 2-run double off Ryan Wise in the top of the tenth, which put the Shade in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, McCoy had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Palm Beach manager Juan Carlos Serrano.
