|
Kingwood Knights starter Yoshizo Kanemura was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the St. Paul Saints, 6-1. Kanemura picked up the win for Kingwood, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. The Knights bumped their record to 18-17 with this latest triumph.
Kingwood used the timely hitting of Sabino Acosta to capture the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Knights on top, 4-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Feels good to get the job done," Kanemura said after the game.
