Hornets Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
The Bethesda Hornets defeated the Bel Air Princes, 10-6. Earning player of the game honors was catcher Al Keener, who was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Reliever Félix López picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Miguel Serbin took the loss. Zeke Barnes finished to wrap up his 1st save.
London Carmichael was a key contributor to the win for the Hornets. In the top of the sixth with two out, the light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to left-center. He was 1-4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Carmichael said. "We did a good job of that today."
Bethesda has an impressive 23-10 record.
