Boise played host to Houston at the friendly confines of Grand Canyon Valley Park.

The Boise Bloodhounds topped the Houston Sting, 6-4, in Lyman Bostock League action at Grand Canyon Valley Park. The player of the game was Boise pitcher Mario Michaca. Jason Loer picked up the save, his 4th.

Dave Garza aided the Boise cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the right fielder was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Garza said.

Boise is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 9th win in 28 games.
