Princes Get Past Charleston for 3-2 Win
|
Well, that's how to end a game in style.
The Bel Air Princes picked up a win at Philip Banks Field, knocking off the Charleston Panthers, 3-2. Starting pitcher Steve Rosenberger, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. The Panthers drop to 10-18 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2033 season.
León Pérez was the walk-off hero for Bel Air. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Princes pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Charleston manager Román Cruz.
