The Barrow Frosties topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 6-3, with youngster Danny Melo playing a key role. Melo went 1-1 with 3 walks, while scoring 3 times for the Frosties in the win. Barrow reliever Devon Labonte was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Henry Baker. Losses have been rare for the Lake Monsters, who are now 19-7.
Adam Wendt helped out the Barrow cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the first baseman went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
