Panthers Fall Short, 6-5, at Bel Air
|
The Bel Air Princes eked out a 6-5 win versus the Charleston Panthers at Philip Banks Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Remco Hassink, who captured player of the game honors. The Panthers fall to 10-17 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2033 season.
Mike Flowers, who is tied for 5th in the AHL in doubles with 6, chipped in for Bel Air with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
Hassink told a Bel Air Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
