7-1 Win by Lake Monsters Continues Hot Start

The Okanagan Lake Monsters extended their winning streak at The Blizzard Bowl.
The Okanagan Lake Monsters topped the Barrow Frosties, 7-1, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Blizzard Bowl. The player of the game was Okanagan pitcher and Aguascalientes, Mexico native Luis González. Jeff Kent recorded the save for Okanagan, his 1st of the season.
Hector Diaz aided the Okanagan cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the third baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.
"I believe in our guys," said Okanagan skipper Bhim Varuni. "I like the energy they're playing with."
Okanagan is now 19-6.
