Jedi Knights Come Back Late, Nip Road Warriors
|
New Orleans Jedi Knights starter Katsutaro Nishikawa was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Westside Road Warriors, 4-3. The Road Warriors fall to 10-15 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when shortstop Mario Tovar, who is rated as the 96th best prospect by BNN, reached on an error by the SS. The Jedi Knights went on to win.
After the game, New Orleans manager Mason Eilers applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
