San Angelo turned a good effort from starter Adam Andersen into a win over the Charleston Panthers at Franklin Mountains Field. The final score was 3-2. The Panthers fall to 10-15 and continue to sputter in the early going.

San Angelo used the bat of Matt Castor to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Mustangs ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.

"Adam was throwing free and easy," said San Angelo manager Clyde Bowman.
