Okanagan right-hander Neil Coffin made an effective start against the Nichols Gnats at Elks Stadium, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Juan López picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-1. Nick Copeland was tagged with the loss. Okanagan is now 16-6.

The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from designated hitter Zachery Randazzo. For the game, Randazzo was 1 for 3. In the bottom of the seventh, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 8th hit of the season gave Okanagan a 3-2 lead.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Reese O'Higgins.
