Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Nick James, the Westside Road Warriors defeated the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 4-3. James was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Road Warriors. Westside starter Adell Anders was credited with the win after throwing 70 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Losses have been few and far between for the Bush Wackers so far this season. Their record drops to 11-5.

James contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Westside in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, James took a fastball from James Stevens and stroked the home run to left-center. His 2nd home run of the season allowed the Road Warriors to leap in front, 2-1.
