It was a fun time at Franklin Mountains Field, where the Kingwood Knights and Charleston Panthers tangled.

The Charleston Panthers defeated the Kingwood Knights, 11-1, at Franklin Mountains Field. Charleston left fielder Willie Zavala was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The winner was Jorge Morales, who threw 71 pitches over 6 innings. The right-hander was charged with no runs on 3 hits.

Zavala had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Panthers went on to win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Zavala.

The Knights fall to 5-10 and continue their wobbly start to the 2033 season.
