Starting pitcher Ryuya Kondo pitched well enough to help the Barrow Frosties beat the Palm Beach Bums by the score of 7-5. Earning his 5th save of the year was Devon Labonte. The Frosties, now 9-2, have hit the ground running this season.

The Frosties got a big at-bat from left fielder Jamie Rose. For the game, Rose was 2-5 with 2 doubles. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 5th double of the season gave Barrow a 6-5 lead.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Kondo told reporters after the game.
